If I am thirsty I would stop. Why is it important if the child is disabled or not? I would stop for any kid if I was thirsty.

Yes, I think I would. But this raises a whole issue of obvious disablement and hidden disablement.

Why (for example) should we be more inclined to stop at a lemonade stand run by a child in a wheelchair with a twisted face and obvious spasticity problems than at one run by a normal-looking child who may have ADHD, autism, severe dyslexia, emotional problems due to abuse, broken family ... the list is endless, isn't it?

Tell you what - I think Sheryl Crow is an experience not worth missing and I don't drive by your place that often. Message me with your Paypal details and I will buy cyber-lemonade and drink to your sucess. How is that?

PS You may not have meant it that way (in fact I am almost sure you didn't) but you do do a very smart line in promotion.

if she was at a location that allowed for a safe and convenient stop. YES! Perhaps some place where people already stop. like roadside gas station. also it may be difficult to discern if she is disabled so put it on the sign! I am sure she must have a sign. make the sign easy to read, big black letters on yellow background. have a picture of a delicious glass of lemonade with ice. use some business sense and promotion skills, do not just rely on pity. say the money is to attend specila olympics etc.

set up the stand so the lemonade looks safe and sanitary and delicious. use natural honey and fresh lemons. deliver it to car window.

I would probably not stop because i leave only enough time to get to my destination when i leave home. if i stop i will be late to work or class or appointment. Besides i don't like lemonade.

PS do you really think all the people on here saying they would stop really would? That is not your experience in real life. People really don't stop for this much. What people say they will do and what people really do are not the same.

I always try to stop at kids' lemonade stands if I can. Maybe she isn't in a good stopping place? I hope she makes enough, tell her to hang in there!

Of course I would stop. It takes alot of thinking and preperation for a child to want a stand, it means to me she is trying to raise for something she wants. I love it.

I don't feel pity for disabled children or people, that's the way they are, they are people.
they like being treated like people.
Of course, I , thanks to my warm heart and karma, would definaly stop and refresh myself with a falvory cup of lemonade. I'll also give him/her a tip.

;D

prob lee not, people don't like to stop their cars. set up the stand where people are walking by, you would probably get more business.
