I'd say take symbolism to heart. Fire---red things, symbol of fire....air---feathers, picture of clouds, that kind of thing.... try growing your own herbs, use things around the house... candle wise, if you have particular candles for particular goals, save them with a note saying what you used them for and next time you are going to use candles use ones that are saved that are close to what you used before, or if you are doing the same thing.... make your own maybe? that's a cool thing to learn.

I understand what you are going through. I had the same problem. The best way to beat it is simple. When you have the money buy spell materials in bulk. I am not talking Sams club or costco bulk, but rather instead of buying enough for one spell working buy enough for 3 or 4. I am lucky that there is a shop by my house where I can get herbs in ounce sizes or larger for a good price and the candles are cheap also. Another way is also to get the candle at of all places Wal-mart. It is not necessarily the way they are made but rather the color. I have mason jars full of herbs a small tupperware full of candles and so forth. That way when the funds are low you will still have the supplies to do your work.

Nearly all of the items typically used in spellwork are only used as symbols, crutches if you will.
As you advance, in theory, you will be able to set them aside and you will no longer need the items, the rituals, or the words, only the power and the thoughts that move within you.
In the meantime, yes, most of the items should be inexpensive and easily available, as the concept behind true spellwork is that it's natural and part of the reality we exist in and control.
Good luck with whatever it is that your doing and remember the concept of Karma, as it works very strongly in spellwork.
Love and peace,
Sebastian

The woman asked specifically for her own enjoyment, not for someone of religious sort to interfere with what makes her happy. How do you know what God is fond of, dears?
He will read her heart and know she is good, and that she's doing something safe, and does not sacrifice animals for her happiness.
Any way, by making some of the stuff yourself, or shopping online, you may find a cheaper supply!

Paganism on a budget? Have to hock your crystals? Out of gris-gris bags? Running low on eye of newt and wart of toad? Leave that stuff alone, You're messing with things that give you temporal earthly power, and keep you distracted so you won't seek the Truth. God's not fond of it at all.

Become a Christian and you won't need spells and enchantment stuff and your bank account might just improve since you wouldn't be spending any money on your satanic toys. Turn to the Lord Jesus Christ and be forgiven of all sins. I'll pray for you and see which spell works best!

Do the work. Make incenses, candles, etc. It is well worth the extra work.

How much more elaborate can you get than setting your home on fire. Then you'll have an excuse not to pay those bills.

Use household items or subsitutes for the items you need. If you need something for fire - use a symbol for fire like something red or hot. If you need a symbol for air, use a feather or something that symbolizes air to you. Use your imagination - you don't have to use the EXACT items as long as you understand their meaning.
