what about the people who thought bad about 666?

the people who thought that the world would come to the end on 6-6-06 they probbally feel bad about it. the ere probbably on the streets yellin "the world is gonna end" or they probably killed themselves in a cult or somthing. what are your thoughts on 666

I think too much time is spent dwelling on this regularly-occuring phenomenon. "You will not know the hour, nor the day."

I'm really just glad no idiot decided to do something stupid in some self-fullfilling prophecy because of the date.

666 is just a friggn number!!! But, the christians had prophosy that the number was the marking of a beast.

But if 666 is that bad, are you telling me that the Intel Pentium III is evil for running at 666.666MHz?

A beast would appear. The only beast the appeared was the BMW M6. A God damned car!!

Number of a MAN, the anti Christ, who is already on the throne. NO more and no less. Anyone that thought it would be the second coming should read their bible and not be sucked in by anything that comes along that says something is going to happen on this day or that. And the whole world wondered after the beast, and his number is 666. Already here and gaining power and will do no less than was done before if you look at history as it will repeat.

What about June 6, 1906? The world didn't end then, did it? That date was also 6-6-06. Besides, the "number of the beast," as people put it, isn't 6-6-6 at all. It's 6-6-5, according to scholars. So the world should have ended last year! lol. Besides, I'm not Christian, I don't believe in Satan.

My thoughts are:

Let it go! It's just a silly superstition that is totally misconceived. It's not a big deal and nothing happened. Forget about it! There's obviusoly nothing to it.

PS: It is thought by historians that the Bible verse that people keep quoting that references 666 was actually mistranslated. Correctly translated the number would actually be 616 (and nothing happened on 06-01-2006 either). It is also though by historians that the number was referenced Caesar as an oppressive ruler - not the devil. Remember: NO language can be translated literally from one language to another.

I don't know if you remember the year of 1999, the WHOLE complete world, it seemed freaked out, thought it was going to be the end of the world, people became like moles, this happened again on this past date.
In the Bible that is to be the supreme mark of the beast, but no one really knows when it will happen.
