Dearest Mr. Darwin
I believe you are more than capable of thinking for yourself. I would even allow you to think for me on certain issues. Like "Should I bring another woman into my marriage bed?" I also find that I desire to turn to you when I come across science that interferes with my understanding of God. Does this mean that I can't think for myself? Or does this mean that you have more experience with three ways (which I actually highly doubt) or science in religion than I? Please note that the lack of response is do to the fact that Spock is not attractive. Have you thought of putting the 2 avatars together in some way? Spock's head on an ape's body? Just something to think about.
Sincerely Yours,
Sharon

Dear friend, God has given a gift as super brain to only human being and nobody else. Why? Because human should use it, he should know him, he should think about him, he should get experience of him. So I think you may not require any intermediate between God and you. Most of the people can't or don't make difference between God and religion. As every river flows towards ocean, all religion goes towards God. The goal is God. Religion is made for to know about God. It helps us to come closer to God. But religion is not compulsory to follow by human being. Religious books are just guide lines, rules to how one should behave to achieve goal. But you can observe that many people goes to church, temple or massgid reads Quran, Bible or any other religious books and after coming out of Church or massgid and reading religious books they starts to do bad works, deeds and sins. Thus reading religious books or follow religion is useless if you don;t behave as good human being.

Yes, the Methodist faith has done so for a bit now and well, its not too bad just yet. However, what are you asking, really? Do you have to be "educated" to understand the Bible or the idea of faith.....no. Last I recall most of the important folks in the bible didnt go to turnpike tech for a feel good class in theology. They, had enormous drive and faith.

To understand your Bible you must have the Holy Spirit living within you and you must believe that Jesus Christ died for your sins. The next thing you must do is to understand the whole Bible is not written to you for doctrine. 1 Corinthians 10:11 Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come. The next thing you must do is to study the Bible for yourself. 2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. The next thing you must do is consider what the Apostle Paul writes as doctrine for the church today. 2 Timothy 2: 7 Consider what I say; and the Lord give thee understanding in all things. The last thing you must do is to pray before and after each time you study and ask the Lord for understanding.

Sure you can think yourself about God. God is an invention made and contributed to by men and women all over. So anything you think about God will be true. Apparently all you need to do is make up something about God, write it down, and then it's a fact that people will die for. :)

Of course you're able to think for yourself about what God's word means! The point of religion is to give someone faith in one's deity, not faith in someone else's interpretation of that deity. If you depend too much on someone else's faith, your own faith can come into question. Believe what it is in YOUR heart to believe. After all, doesn't the bible say that's where God dwells in you?
But don't believe me, either! Believe in yourself and God!
