When I was a few minutes away from being raped I was so mesmerized by the power my rapist had over me. My parents respected him and had told me to obey all adult authority over me implicitly. My own heart had rested all my safety in his care because after all, " all adults know better " according to my parents . I felt speechless as he was raping me because of the guilt of rebelling against an authority figure. At first when he began I struggled " respectfully " doing my best not to offend this " trusted authority figure " since I had to reverence and " respect him as an adult ". Then when I saw I had no escape and was to exhausted to resist any longer I thought " things will somehow be ok since i am obeying my elder ". How can obedience to " authority " heal a raped mind and body ? Why didnt I have the strength to scream and rebel against this rule of respect for authority ? How does a rule have such power that it empowers a rapist to hurt a little girl ? plz pray for me

You poor thing. No one ever has the right to impose themself on you. My suggestion would be that you seek two things 1. local counceling and 2. self defense lessons. Strike for the eyes first, as you may not have the strength to crush an attacker's throat. Also it only takes 7 lbs of pressure to rip a human ear off. But first and foremost, tell somebody, your mother, a teacher, the police. Get out of the situation NOW. Your safety is my first concern. Good luck and God bless.

I feel terrible about what happened to you but that guy has no authority. God is authority. I would expose him and tell someone you can trust. Adults don't know better sometimes and this is the perfect example. Tell your parents I know that may not be the easiest thing to do but God already knows and I pray that he will give you the strength and courage and wisdom to do the right thing. That person in high regard is not of God that is the devil himself.

Yes I'll pray for you. I'm so sorry this happened to you. What a misuse and abuse of authority. God does not give authority to adults so that they can hurt children, but so that they can lead children in the right paths. I'm so sad for you.

Children do not have the ability to challenge authority.

Children depend on adults for their survival.

Children who are abused (in whatever form it takes) are not responsible for the abuse, and are not required to resist being abused.

Stop blaming yourself; you are only causing yourself even more (unnecessary) harm by dwelling on that which you cannot change and can not control.

additional comment:

You have not made it clear how old you currently are. If you are still subject to being abused, call

1 800 799 SAFE

that is the national domestic abuse hotline and they can provide you further assistance.

DO NOT CALL THAT NUMBER IF YOU ARE IN THE PRESENCE OF YOUR ABUSER OR ANYONE WHO MIGHT THREATEN YOU FOR REPORTING ABUSE.

parents should teach children to "respect" themselves first and foremost!! By showing them that "No ONE" has the right to touch them in a bad way and that if they do no matter who the person is or how well he knows mommy and daddy or who they are in the community-they are SICK AND WRONG.Personally i think pedophiles should have hot sharp objects shoved up there *** daily, have their peckers cut off, and wear a big red "P" made of permanent ink tattooed on their forehead!

You need to get some counseling to get through it all. I agree that it is a very terrible ordeal to go through and you need help now to see it was not your fault and to get through the process of healing. Please know you are being prayed for. Good luck in your healing process.
