most hair gels today do not contain alcohol... just read the ingredients... just shampoo it out good, always use a good conditioner to counter any affects of styling products... hair is dead anyway... the thing that does most damage to hair is hair dyes , blow dryers, and irons... not the products to style it...

My mom alwayz tells me to stop using hair gel because it breaks your hair off so i think Gel isn't so good for your hair now the hairspray you use if your like rolling your hair for it to stay on the rollers, but i have never used mousse so i really don't know.
Also hairspray and Gel make your hair hard which makes it harder to comb or brush which will soon lead to hair breakage.

Not as long as it doesn't dry out your hair. It is bad for your hair to have the natural oils taken out of it. So if you do use these things then just get a good conditioner heat activated and let it sit on your hair after shampoo for 3 mins then rinse your hair will be soft and healthy. Also mix mayo and shampoo and let it sit for 15 min. This is a once a month treatment just make sure that you put more shampoo then mayo so you wont smell the mayo as much. Then just wash it out with water and more shampoo if desired.

If the gel or hairspray has lots of alcohol - it could dry out your hair over the years. the different situation is product build up. you need to use a clarifying shampoo to get rid of it. Neutrogena Anti-Residue Shampoo is my widespread. napping on moist hair could be undesirable if it gets tangled & pulled around. Hair is extra carriers to breaking while that is moist.

ITS OKAY UNLESS AS YOU DON'T PUT SO MUCH HAIRSPRAY BECAUSE THEN IT TURNS HARD AND GRITTY. USING A LOT OF GEL AND MOUSSE DOESN'T DO ANYTHING TO YOUR HAIR. JUST MAKE SURE YOU WASH IT ALL THE TIME AND YOU'RE GOOD.

Depends on many factors. In general if you folow the recommendation and the products are really of a good, renometad mark is not likely possible to damage your hair.Sure if you don't use them recklessly and don't care for your hair with the proper washing, conditioning, etc.

No, just make sure you wash it out the next time you wash your hair. If you don't then you will get build up and scalp will start to itch.
