I am sick of being stuffed around with maintenance. I have 4 kids and their father just stopped paying since he got married recently. My kids find it hard to deal with at times as he is supporting 2 kids that are not his. Does anyone else have this trouble.

First, why do your kids know that he isn't paying child support? This is not something you should be sharing with them, especially given the circumstances. You should not influence their relationship with their father with your sour grapes. That said, go to your local child support enforcement office - probably located at the court house. For a one time $25.00 fee, they will "take over" your support case to enforce the court order. (You may find that it is necessary to call them often so your file doesn't get stale!) The CS office will get his check guarnished, etc. to make sure that you get support. Good Luck!

Try explaining to your children that they did nothing wrong in this situation, my oldest is nine and my youngest is six I have been fighting for support since the day they were born and have yet to see one single red penny. Always show your kid's you love them and they'll see they're taken care of and loved by a wonderful parent.

I think that they are a sorry excuse for a women/Men. I should take having to pay child support to make a parent take care of their responsibility.

Take him back to court, his new wife's income is counted in the amount he must pay. Then go to the district Attorney to have his and her paychecks garnished. Remember it's the kids right to this money.

Um, file again, again and again! My son's father doesn't pay either and it pisses me off for the Att Gen to tell me they can't find him! I don't know what to do either! They are deadbeats to the core!
