Constantly men are intimidated by a woman that they are deeply attracted to unless the guy is a ego fanatic who spends most of his time pleasing himself in the shower to boost his ego

yes that is definitely possible. When a guy finds a girl attractive it can be intimidating to talk to her because you are nervous/don't want to mess up.
