Why is it that you always read about or hear people talking about how Christians try to push their religion on others....and it always is coming from someone who doesnt believe in God. Why do the atheists try to make everyone believe that there is nothing to believe in? That there is no God....They're pushing their NON-BELIEFS down our throats....What makes THEM different from US(as they refer the differences between people)?

I read what others are saying and feel like i must add that i am NOT saying christians DONT push their religion. Ive had people push their beliefs on me also. But why is that a Non believer will call me stupid and worthless for beleiving in something in the first place? Whats more what i mean....A non believer complains about christians pushing, well they do it also. They call others stupid for believing and try to tell them thereis no reason, that there is no proof. You shouldnt need proof to believe in something. To have you own opinion and believe. I guess everyone should just shut their mouths and live THEIR lives. Believers and non believers.

They are NO different. I think it angers them that we have something to believe in, something real, and they don't. So they want to take our faith away from us. They'll all see the truth someday, but it will be too late. It's sad.

Just so you know I believe in God but I have experienced certain people of the Christian following pushing their beliefs on me. Like telling me I am going to hell if I don't not take Jesus as my Savior. I have not had many Christians try to bring me to Jesus by telling me the good of him or how he loves me. I personally love Jesus and respect the teachings he brought to the world. I don't think he is God anymore than I am but I still love him. People are people. Everyone wants to get their point across. It is all about your personal approach. If you don't push your religion on others then I guess you don't fall into that group of Christians that someone was implying.People generalize too much. Try just focusing on the positive people and post on this site and I am sure you will have a better experience.

I believe in G-d, but firmly believe that Christians (in General) push their religion on others. FACT: Christianity is a missionary religion.

I thank Mr. Quantrill37. I am a non-believer, but agree with his thesis 100%. Let's not kid ourselves, the missionary zeal is just way too obvious.

I often read: "If you don't believe in Jesus than you'll ___!" (You can fill in the blanks).

I'd bet it isn't often you read: "You must stop believing because of Y...."

There is no difference. I see nothing wrong with talking about your beliefs, just as long as you don't smother people.

Good question Jessica, just don't start a fight. Be nice to everyone even though they may disagree with you.
