Kick him in the head, throw some water in his face and tell him to check all of his own pockets.
Or you could simply cut his clothing off of him and that way you wouldn't have to grope around his body looking for the ring.

Well if he doesn't have a significant other that could do it than the job falls on the maid of honor. If she refuse's than the bridesmaids and if they refuse sorry dude that means you'll have to get a little closer to your best man than you ever wanted to.

i believe that wedding etiquette states that:
in the event of a lost ring in the best mans pants the maid/matron of honor is required to perform the search and rescue upon previously stated ring...
how this is to be accomplished is of course up to the maid/matron of honor...
and the photographer....
and the videographer...

Shoot if they are that huge any way, I would just rip them off of him and serch. Then put his hand in water and make him pi.ss him self for loosing the ring in the first place. Cuz you know your new wife is going to blame you
