We are a non profit organisation Spot-on Theatre who will be putting up a drama comedy from 26-30 July 2006 at the Actors Studio in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The purpose of this show is allow our members as actors and actresses, an opportunity to display their talents.
We need financial sponsorship to cover the cost of venue and advertising and props. The net proceeds will be channelled towards development of members and community in enhancing their acting skills.
I am seeking for complimentary professional advice.

You really need a hook. Something that will make people notice your group as something extremely worthwhile. You might pick a few members and describe how much they have opened up and developed so far as example of what your sponsors money will do for more participants. 10% towards other charities didn't impress me. Concentrate on the real benefits of your program.

You could seek out a Patron. You could work with local merchants.
