Yellow, obviously, is a primary color generally associated with the sun or lemons.

If you call someone Yellow, or Yellow Bellied, it means they are, or are acting like a coward.

Edit: Good point! A yellow sign or signal light usually means caution, yield, or slow down.

It depends on the State. It means caution. I hear that in New York you aren't supposed to drive through yellow lights. I don't know if they change how the interval works or if that is even true. Most cases though yellow means hurry up so you dont' get caught at a red light, or at least that is how people tend to treat them. Seriously though it means slow down and be prepared to stop.
