Every Christian is on a different level with God. Christians are not perfect, and they do not think that they are better then everyone. The reason why we go to Church is because we know that we are not perfect, and that we screw up. And thats what makes us different. We identified that we as humans CONSTANTLY screw up, and arent afraid to admit that. No one is perfect, and it is only through the love of Christ that we can admit our faults and be forgiven.

Amen!! I am with you on this. We are not all the same and a lot of people judge GOD by what people do. We have free will - We make our own choices. So it is not " Christians " or GOD that hurt someone- it is an individual or a group of individuals that have messed up.
It is sad to see that some in society wants to condemn all people of a certain race or social class or religious belief. There are good people everywhere and there are bad people everywhere. Don't judge everyone by one person's actions.

GOD BLESS!!

Well put. Christians get stereotyped just as much as anyone else. However, to add to your comment about going to church. Paul tells us, " Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will." (Romans 12:2) As we walk with Christ we are to be changed and formed more and more into His likeness, putting of the things of old, our old nature and fleshly desires and are to embrace our cross and bare suffering in order to be more like our Lord. There's no advantage in going to church and asking for forgiveness if we are unwilling to change.

Perhaps judgements need to cease from all quarters. How many Christians generalize about any other religion (for which they do not have knowledge or information) ? But they do not expect the same lack of respect?

Christians get labeled because of nonsense like you have written..they are always on a soap box, always waving their bible in my face, always judging others, hating others who do not believe as they do. As a group, I am sorry to say, they fall into the most ungodly bunch I have known. And I am sure that NOT all Christians are like this...but the ones that are are certainly noisy, aren't they? They hold their religion as absolute, yet conveniently forget most of the tenants of the faith.

I KNOW HOW YOU FEEL; ITS LIKE YOU HAVE TO BE SUPER CAREFUL AROUND A NONCHRISTIAN PERSON OR THEY'LL LOOK AT YOU AND SAY YOU'RE A HYPOCRITE! BUT WE ALL SIN AND MAKE MISTAKES! THE ONLY DIFFERENCE WITH US IS THAT WE TRY NOT TO PRACTICE SIN. MY HUSBAND ISN'T SAVED YET BUT SOMETIMES WHEN I ACCIDENTLY CUSS OUT LOUD, HE'LL LOOK AT ME WITH SUCH AN EXPRESSION ON HIS FACE! I KINDA WISH THERE WAS AN EASIER WAY TO DESCRIBE THE GOSPEL TO A NONCHRISTIAN IN A WAY THAT THEY CAN UNDERSTAND IT WITHOUT LOOKING SUPER CONFUSED! I HAVE TO PRAY ABOUT THAT. WELL GOD BLESS!
