Not horrible but not a balanced diet. Vegitarians do not eat only fruit and veggies. They suppliment their diets with things like nuts and they eat tofu, etc. You need some protein in your diet and you won't get enough (if any) with only fruit and vegetables.

It would be difficult for you to eat enough fruit and veggies to cover all your nutritional needs, although it's possible. Some veggies have protein - i.e. beans, some have fat - i.e. avacodo, and most have carbs. Most fruits and veggies are low-cal, so you probably wouldn't meet your caloric requirements.

So basically, fruits and veggies are great, but I wouldn't eat them only (that'd be difficult too!). Add some additional protein sources, like dairy and lean meat (if you're a vegetarian, tofu and other soy products), and whole grains and you're on your way to a very healthy diet.

Mix in some nuts and beans and dairy for your protein and get some grains too. Just fruits and vegetables isn't balanced. Make sure you get the other 3 food groups: dairy, protein, and grains.

it is good for the health but definitely not the best to eat only without other types of food, since it does not contain all the necessary requirements for a healthy body in terms of the balanced diet ration of protein, carbohydrates, fats & oils, minerals (vitamins) etc. Mostly, friuts have rich contents of vitamins, but less proteins - which is needed for building body cells.

As long as you do not feel tired, eating fruits and vegetables only will be very good for health.

Eating *only* fruits and vegetables? Bad

Eating *mostly* fruits and vegetables? Good

Vegans do it. Personally I think they look unhealthy, stringy and thin and dried out. But it's true that you can live without eating meat or animal products. It's a personal choice.
