Wear the right protection for your skin type, any good pharmacy should have a guide. Take it slowly and try not to spend too much time in the sun during the hottest part of the day. The slower you build your tan the longer it will last. There are lotions out there as well as pills that can boost your melonin lovels resulting in a quicker, darker tan. If you are going for an extremely dark tan beyond your natural plateau then you will need specialist lotions available from tanning shops that contain melonin boosting chemicals such as trf2000. California tan are a good company for these lotions.

I'm bad with fake tan too, but that new Garnier spray on stuff is really good, not smeary and not too expensive.
Plus, if you have pale skin that burns easily (like me) you are at high risk of skin cancer so wear high factor sun cream and DO NOT use sunbeds!!

I'm pale too, but, I'd rather be pale and interesting than be like the other sheep.
Couldn't you go to a place that does spray on fake tan?

thinking back, this is a minimum of the third time you`ve published this so i'm looking forward to the subsequent to have an avatar with a winking eye, as beforehand. In years, it sort of feels on the sur-face to be a lifelike deal, BUTT, repeating the comparable ole "strutt yer stuff" is unoriginal and not my area of expertise. walk on.....the `minutiae` or, extra apt possibly, the `Psychology` dialogue board would nicely be sympathetic to those experiencing substitute-my-avatar-and-call Obsessive-Compulsive-issues. i'm severe, re the latter.

Jergens and Dove have a daily moisturizer that add just a little bit of tint every time you use it. After a week, you have a natural looking glow. I love that stuff!

first of all...when you get a tan...you cook your organs, as well as damage your skin (the UV...sun...rays kill your skin)...i suggest using tanning lotion (like the fake stuff)...but get help if you think it will mess up

You could try going to a MysticTan salon. The professionals there will help you achieve a good color. I went before my wedding and it was great. There was no orange color either.
