absolutely...i hate seeing the "bad" words on here...i have reported a few of them, but it would take for ever to report everyone who does it...and they might not be punished

Actually, certain words on Yahoo!Answers are automatically blocked out. I don't think that words should be screened or censored for the benefit of children. After all, it is the parents' responsibility to monitor their children's activities and to see to it that they don't see or hear anything they deem inappropriate. It's not everyone else's responsibility to child-proof the world.

As in all things in life, the answer is yes it should. THe reality is that those in control are marketing a business and do not have the moral gumption to stand up and say that these things are not allowed. They will quickly say that it is a freedom of speech issue. It is our responsibility to teach our children to have convictions. ANd by the way, if it is too deep for our children, isn't it harmful to us as adults. Yeah!

There just trying for attention for the most part, some may not know the proper words to express themselves without being vulgar.

"Kids" shouldn't be surfing the Internet.

Anyone who needs what they read censored shouldn't be on the Internet.
