I have identical twins in the family (I have twin sisters and my grand father has twin sisters) He and my grand mother have 4 kids. Of those 4 kids, none had twins (total of 15 between them). I also have an older sister with 3 kids and a brother with 1 kid, and one of my twin sister's had 1 baby. I some how ended up with fraternal twins. I have no idea how or why. I think its all a big crap shoot! But they are so cool!!!!

There was only one set of twins in my family and I never even considered the fact that I could have twins.

I gave birth to twins in January. So, your chances may be pretty good.

Twins normally skip a generation. becuase your grandmother had twins, there is a possibility that you may have twins. But most likely, your children will be the ones that have twins

relies upon if he's same or fraternal. some twinning is genetic becauseof a gene inflicting hyperovulation (liberating extra suitable than one egg for the period of ovulation). If he's fraternal and your grandma had this gene, he might have become a provider and handed it directly to you. it particularly is demanding to place your possibilities into probabilities. It relies upon on too lots. yet you've an bigger hazard. If he's same, there's no genetic link and that is all by ability of twist of destiny.
