Oh, this is a good one. Let's see, Vista is now what, two years late. The WinFS file format has been abandoned, the Side bar keeps getting removed and put back in. Some companies don't have drivers ready for the 32-bit version much less any 64-bit drivers. Vista is going to need 2GB of memory in order to function well, especially if you want to play heavy 3D intense games (I already have 2GB but most people don't, who knew?).

Vista has been delayed and delayed and delayed. Microsoft is worried about compatibility with legacy systems. If I were Microsoft, I wouldn't care about legacy systems, I'd say if you don't have the hardware, don't buy Vista or upgrade that thing you call a PC.

Vista has now been pushed back yet again, it will launch in "early" 2007 but not January and early 2007 includes anything up to May 31st. I wouldn't be surprised at all if it got pushed back to the end of next year.
