4 lunch i would go to nemain marcus, tucchi bennuch thats on the 5th floor of blommingdales, um ron of japan on ontario if your looking 4 cheap things go to the water tower place wow boa or foodlife chicago place theres panda up there italian village, marshal fields state street

Lunch - The Oak Room downtown in Marshall Field's. Milk & Honey in Bucktown.
Breakfast - The Bongo Room in Bucktown, or Pancake House downtown off of Rush St.

It depends on what you you are looking for. If it's for business, but casual - I think the Atwood Cafe and the Grill at Millenium Park are great places to go. There are a couple of restaurants in the Sears tower that are casual - Italina, Deli and Mexican.

More "upscale" restaurants for lunch are Italian Village restaurants, Banderas on Michigan Ave. and Fulton Louge.

If you are looking for more casual - 7 on State (Marshall Field's cafeteria) is excellent. They have six or seven stations to order food from and an atrium that you can sit next to that has amazing views.

not sure about breakfast but for lunch Id do Cheesecake Factory, Grand Lux Cafe, or Redfish (cajun food, really good! Its next door to the House of Blues).
