It just seems that people are very quick to point fingers, and label others as "bad people" just based on a simple question. What do you think?

I don't think anyone can, or has the right to label anyone,or point fingers. Now that that is out of the way, I don't think you can really judge a person's character by their questions. Sometimes, I like to be funny, quirky, sarcastic, etc. with my Q's (& A's). It depends on my mood, but that does not make me a bad person. When people are asking serious questions, you have to consider that maybe they did not want to tell the whole story, or that maybe you are not getting what they are trying to ask. It could be also that it is so much easier to ask the "hard" questions on here, because you don't have to look someone in the eye when you ask, and you do not have to be afraid of any real repercussions. There are a few people whom I admire on here, but that does not mean they are great or bad people, because I do not personally know them. Some can be annoying, but aren't all of us sometime?

I am into psychology and I am very good at seeing what people are all about, but that would require a lot of exposure to any one person. Online is a little difficult. I go by the words, sentence structure, subject matter and intuition to decide for myself what a person is like before I answer them. I don't have a perfect system nor perfect judgement but I am usually on the mark. I often feel that people cruise the questions to find a place to vent their anger through religious and political views, a characteristic that I am prone to exercise often. A lot of answerers are too harsh on others and think that is just having fun. I try to be straightforward, precise, and tactful all the time, but some knucleheads really ask for it and I'm not always in a nice mood.

I don't think you can judge their over all character from a single question, but perhaps how they handling the situation their asking about....Its supprising to read how blind a person can become within a relationship being an outside spectator looking in...and generally a person isn't who they describe in the situation...its all the circumstance that lead up to that situation that resulted in asking their question...thats why such a forum as this can wake up both those who ask the questions and those who read and provide their opinions.

well, you can say Im shallow minded but I am a Muslim and I browse this site too many times to see people asking or acusing horible things about my religion. I dont know who they are, and I am not saying that they are bad people, they may have a family, children, they may be respected in their world but one thing I judge from them is that how shallow THEIR mind is because they judged me and my friends and family, and all the people in my world, when I am here trying to convince people that there are people in this world who are good, even when they are different than us, do you understand that???

well, just saying that I think that they should know the limits of one question because some question could make people think that everyone in certain contries are bad and shallow minded

I think you can tell alot about a person by the things that they say. See watch, I'm going to read your questions, and come back and tell you what I think about you.
Well I looked at your questions, any you are a really smart guy. I admire that. However, sound like you are desperate for a lay friend. Not to sound rude, but you are probably really shy and insecure. Am i right?

That depends. If a person has a consistent history of asking stupid or shallow questions, it's safer to assume (and yes, I know what they say about assuming) that the person is stupid and shallow. If the person consistently asks well worded and legitimate questions, you could assume they're at least semi-educated. One question, or answer for that matter, shouldn't be enough to exonerate or condemn a person though.

I don't think that Ted Kennedy is a bad man for his answer to the Chappaquiddick question. Not at all! And I think that most of the '72 Dolphins would agree with me!

of course you cant "judge" someone based on a question, but I think sometimes if the person asking doesnt like the answer they assume they are being judged...As I've always been told ...if you dont think you're gonna like the answer dont ask the question

Yes...I think some of the askers shed alot of light on who and what they are. It is pretty easy to tell the idiots from the normal people - by way of their spelling and grammar. You can also tell the haters and attention-grabbers easily, and I think you can tell the difference between the REAL haters from those doing it as a goof.
