Indeed Christianity profounds those great teachings. "Look into the mirror" to see God, Look into your brothers face to see God"; its the greatest theology of Christianity. "Love", the base of all theology, is looking in for God in you and others.

It isn't. God and the bible both stress self-searching to put one's self right with God. It's the main thrust of the Bible. Here are a few supporting scriptures that smack truth and justice:

"Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, 'Let me take the speck out of your eye,' when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye."
--Matthew 7:3-5 (Note: brother here refers to a fellow believer)

and

"Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like a man who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. But the man who looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues to do this, not forgetting what he has heard, but doing it--he will be blessed in what he does."
--James 1:22-25

This second set specifically speaks to a person so they will pay attention to their own actions. It is a necessity--as is an active relationship with God--for a genuine Christ-follower.

Looks like you need to study Christianity before you make naive statements as if they are fact.
Your is based on a presumption that is amazingly inaccurate.

What do you meanby "looking in yourself"? If it means what I think it means, then...Christians do look in upon themselves. Christians are to live above reproach. In order to do that, they need to look within themselves to see what needs to be changed in order to glorify God. If you mean looking in yourself for salvation , then no, Christians don't do that because of the fundamentals of Christianity. Christians follow Christ - we believe that He is the only way to achieve salvation. Believing in ourselves/our own good works is vain.

Because all glory and honor belong to God. No matter how good man thinks he is, there is no good thing in man. Looking in yourself is worthless. Look to God. He has all we need if we would follow him.
