Funny how good it feels to be the winner, owning the best streets & having a few hotels while the cash is flowing, but at the end of the game, the winner has to put all the money back, hotels and houses into the bolx. The same applies in life, when you die, everything has to go back into the box.

That brings up the question of "what is success"? To have all the money in the world? To be a director of a company? To drive the most expensive car? No it cant be, because at the end, everything has to go back into the box.... and when you get to the gate these things will not be your ticket to enter the Kingdom.

So, what is success????

Well.. in monopoly, success is when you monopolized the market. THis would mean owning all the lots, railroads and services. In real life, success is relative. It may be in the form of material wealth, power, fame, a good family, a nice job or other things. Spiritually, success hapens when you are aligned with what success means for God.

success is accomplishing your goals. If your goal is to have alot of money and drive fancy cars and you obtain that, then you are successfull. If your goal is to be a mentor to troubled young kids and they all graduate from school, then you are successful. Success is what you make it. It isnt the end result, it is the product to get there. Whether it "goes back in the box" or not it doesnt lose any value to us. It is just as meaningful and you honestly appreciate it more because you know in the end, thats it. My goals are to get my MSN and be established. When I acheive that, I will be successful. That is success to me.

The object of Monopoly is to force every other player out of the game. It's fun. I don't think it's a good metaphor for life.

Anyway, success is enjoying your life.

Success is just being happy with what you have and makin the best out of it. If I only had $5 to my name it would be alot more than having nothing. :)

Well for me it would be having my husband and kids and then having money you see, cause it doesnt go back in the box , b/c it can go to my kids and then grandkids and so forth. It's knowing how to keep that money flowing.

Monopoly is rarely played in my house. It usually results in a fight or someone falling asleep from boredom.
