United States of Canada... what an awful thought.
Still, I understand what you're saying. Canada is radically more liberal than many parts of the U.S. especially the fundamentalists in the South. We tolerate marijuana and have legalized same sex marriage. But I think most Cdn's will draw the line at being called the United States...that's a little over the top.
I'm not anti-American, but I am a proud Canadian.
