As its written every one will carry the mark of the beast

after all nokia 66 models its coming up with 0666..and every mobile ph has a code 666 any company cause it was made under that law number and everyone is carrying around the world from 1st world to 3rd world.

the original meaning of the mark of the Beast was seen as some sort of passport that people would carry around that told of who they were and what affiliation they had with a certain group. the word John uses is "keregyma" If you think that the mobile phone will tell God and Satan that everyone belongs to either the elect or the damned then I guess the phone could be used as the mark of the beast. Ultimately it comes down to alligence, is your allegiance with the devil or is it with the Lord? If it is with the Lord and you have a phone I don't think you have anything to worry about.

I don't think the mark of the beast is a mobile phone. Though I ma nto very religious, I would think it would be more of a characteristic or at least something that wouldn't be a technological advance.

But yeah, we're still alive. 6-7-06... don't have a lot of fear for today. a month and a year though, you religious folks will be happy i assume.

666- The names of Nero, the roman emperor, translated into old Greek and then translated into the number language(hard work) and added up.

NO! The Mark is really knowing just like the hand means working! For instance many do not know God's Holy Day is the Sabbath Saturday. Satan's Mark would be keeping Sunday as doing work on Saturday.
