I have very frizzy/naturally curly hair...I will use the FrizzEase by John Frieda-Extra Straight (purple bottle). You can find it at Wal-Mart or any drug store. Put it on damp hair before you blow dry. Then use a pomeade or finishing wax to keep the flyaways down.
If you want straight, smooth hair, follow your blow drying with a flat iron with a high heat setting. If you do this, use some kind of heat treatment.

Use more conditioner after shampooing. Then, get a leave in conditioner or a serum or a anti frizz serum type thing. You can get them in Target or Walmart. Use a bit with your damp hair and you won't have frizzy hair!

Use a hair straightner to straighten it out and then get some hair serum. Paul Mitchell has a brand that is sold in beauty salons and there is another one called BioSilk. That will help control your hair after you straighten it.
The best straightner I found at Walmart. It is white and runs about $29.

Frizz ease from john freida.
Also keep it cut. about every 5 weeks or so. Frizzy hair gets split ends more and that just makes the frizz worse.
I also never blow dry my hair.
Ever.

i just got my hair cut 4 days ago and i was having the same problem! the women told me to use a leave in conditioner after i shampoo and condition. and i have very frezzy hair and thick hair also. i use infusium leave in conditioner in the big bottle (not the spray one). so far its been working for me! and she also said it could be cause from so much damamge like dying, gel, hair spray, etc. also from very bad split ends, and i too had bad split ends so i layered my hair from my shoulders down. since below my shoulders was were all the split ends were. but use infusium 23 its much easier than using all those serums and straightening (plus straightening may straighten your hair but it also drys it out)
