Does she have spots on her skin which are causing her discomfort and making her itch? If so yes. I remember when I had chicken pox, I was in a mess! My whole body was filled with them and I was itching like crazy. What helped though was a product called Calomine Lotion which soothed the ithcing and cleared up the spots. I will advise you to encourage your daughter not to scratch them too much becoz even though the calomine lotion will clear them up, a few spots may remain on her skin for life as a result of the constant scratching. So rub on the calomine lotion and tell her not to scratch.

Put her in a warm bath and watch and you can see the spots start to pop out on her body if she does. Usually the "pox" develope in warm places on the body.............underarm usually.

Usually the red spots all over her body will give you a clue. She could also have a fever and be listless.
