I learned alot from working in a hotdog factory and you are referring to Sodium erythorbate? When used in processed meat such as hot dogs and beef sticks, this compound keep these foods from changing color by reducing the rate of nitrate to nitric oxide in meat. Show your friend up and tell him/her what it actually means!

I remember hearing that in grade school, so my first reaction would be to say that it's not true. But even if it is, so what. It's not like they're still slimy and wiggling around. You don't even notice it. In reality though, I would say that if it makes them easier to eat, no, hot dogs do not contain earthworms.

Sodium Erythorbate... Sounds scientific, doesn't it? That eases people's nerves, makes them think it's ok, cause scientists are beyond reproach, right? Yeah, right, just like priests and lawyers and other so-called "authority" figures. Nobody is beyond reproach. Deception is a part of human nature. Answer me this: If they wanted to make people eat worms without their knowledge, wouldn't they call it by some scientific jargon to make you think it wasn't worms? Now bate is not bait, and erythorbate isn't pronounced "Eethro Bait." But if they wanted to make you eat worms they would simply lie to you to convince you that it wasn't worms, just like they convinced you to trust government while they pick your pocket and steal your liberty. Worms! We are all food for worms! And Soylent Green is people!

Maybe, but it is made out of left over meat like pig stomach, liver, kidneys. and the lining is its intestines. Would you eat that ever again? I bet they could stick a earthworm in there, who would notice it?

Your friend is pulling your chain. Hotdogs are made of beef. The ingredient you are referring to is erythrobates. Erythrobates are a man made additive to make the hotdogs keep their color while sitting on the shelf.

Um yes it is very possible since hot dogs are made from the floor sweepings and other, even worse things (eyes ,brains ,gonads etc.) from the factory

No, the word just looks similar. Hotdogs are made of chicken, beef, and pork by-product, otherwise known as scraps.
