If we are all Gods children, then that makes me the son of God. Is it possible that this Jesus fellow was the same as me, in that he is also the son of god, as is all mankind?

I don't think we are god's children. If we were god's children, we wouldn't think up things like semi-automatic weapons, chemical weapons, or atomic bombs. If you want to get biblical, I believe we are Adam's children. Genesis says that Adam and Eve deliberately disobeyed god and chose to go their own way. When they did that, they ceased being god's children and became independent of god. I think that makes more sense, just for the plain fact of how we're living nowadays.

So to answer your question, no, I don't think this Jesus fellow was like you.

Jesus and God are the same Being, though it is a hard concept to grasp. The Trinity represents God as three persons: God the Father, God the Son [Jesus], and God the Holy Spirit. When God sent His Son to die for the sins of the world, He sent the part of him that was His Son. Jesus was (and is) sinless, with no mistakes or regrets to His name. We as humans are not literally the spawn of God, but when we accepted Him into our hearts as our Savior, then God "adopted" us and we became part of His family.

Yes. I believe that Jesus is our brother and that we are all God children. Jesus was the same as us. We are all divine/human. Jesus was just better at listening to God than we are. He was more willing to follow God's will than we are.

There is a BIG difference. When we accept Jesus Christ as our Savior, then we will be adopted into the family as God's children. Jesus has not been adopted.

No because Jesus was our perfect sacrifice and example (God In flesh) and no one is perfect under heaven.
