Apparently, my first words were a repeat of a dire warning I was given about not touching the clock in my grandma's house. Unfortunately, I don't think I had the "L" sound down quite right, so my first words of wisdom ever were "No touchacock".
If I'd known enough to be embarrassed. I probably wouldn't have been anyway.
:o)

My daughter, 3, says,
swamich for sandwich,
glymet for blanket,
lasternight, a combination of last night and yesterday, it's hilarious, there's probably a bunch more but those are just off the top of my head.

I love it sometimes when my kids get it wrong and I can't bear to correct them cos it sounds so sweet doesn't it! Mine still say.... Whos look aftering us? (eldest one is 11)
One of my kids kept pointing to a painting he had done and saying 'sie sie' (as in sounding of 'pie') and me and my friend didn't have a clue what he meant. He was having trouble hearing and speaking and had an operation to have grommits put in. Well once he had this done he could hear properly and we pointed to the painting and said whats that? His answer.............. SUNSHINE!! Bless him!

My daughter says the following:
Jores for chores
Maflingos for flamingos
callapitters for caterpillers
and instead of nostrils she would say her left nose or her right nose coz she couldn't remember the word nostrils.

I can tell you some from my son:
hooscase for suitcase (we still use that one!)
eyebrowned for eyebrow
daddad for Grandad (that one's stuck as well!)
"I can't know that" instead of "I don't know"
He's 24 now - JUST KIDDING! He's seven :)
