They use a special instrument, it doesn't hurt to much though. Iv'e had it done alot.

With a surgical staple remover. It spreads out the staple and it pops right out! it might pinch a little, but it's over in a flash. No biggie.

With a great big staple remover - I'm not joking! Don't worry though, that sounds worse than it is - it stings a bit but that's all.

Yep what she said^...they use this little plyer lookin thing and use it to snap the staples..I had it done when I had a C section...I was afraid but the nurse who took them out was very gentle.

they have a special staple remover that they use...it really don't hurt...just a little stinging...good luck and hope your recovery goes well
