You asked for it.
If your skin thinks it is dry it produces more oil so start with a mild shampoo and do not message your scalp. In fact touch it as little as possible.Message stimulates oil glands.Us a very light weight scalp conditioner. If your skin thinks it is moist it will not produce as much of it's own oils.Us a light spray leave in conditioner.Do not use any heat styles for about three days.Plan on loose up do.Do not pull your hair tight from your scalp. This also stimulates the scalp. You will see a difference in a week.Good luck.

T-GEL SHAMPOO. & PUT A CONDITIONER JUST ON THE TIPS and avoid the scalp. When you rinse your hair leave a little conditioner on it makes a big difference in the split ends. I use to do that when my hair was long. It's an extra step but works well. When you put the towel on your head make sure the ends arent laying on your scalp area the conditioner will leak on it.

I can't solve the oily scalp, but I can recommend during the day to put a little baby powder on your roots so it will absorb the oils and not look so oily until you can solve the oily scalp crisis. It works wonders.

attempt getting a deep conditioner and utilising that when or two times each week. My favourite one is expensive, so i'm no longer likely to show it, yet a great inexpensive one is Aussie 3 minute miracle. it is going to repair your hair and make it much less dry. No, your hair would not develop a tolerance, that is a delusion. If a shampoo is working for you follow it!

when massaging your scalp try to do it more with your palms than your finger tips (your finger tips are more oily). do not work shampoo onto the ends of your hair just let the run off clean the ends.
