Have you ever burned yourself while lighting farts?

Not personally, but in college my roommate did. He didn't believe that you could light farts, despite my conviction. So, he had to try it for himself. He kept his boxers on and held the lighter up there, then let one rip. To his surprise, a small fireball lept from his anus, burned his hand, and caused him to drop his zippo...onto himself, lighting his boxers on fire. He put the fire out pretty quickly, but let's just say he lost a little ball hair in the process. Good times.

I've never "participated" in this ritual, but we all have that cousin that does... mine's by marriage...LOL. Anyway, he was wearing sweat pants (for bed) and had somehow ripped the seam a little, without realizing it. He went to light one, and because of the hole, he caught the hair there on fire. It singed it under his testicles (which sent him to to howling) and all the way back as far as the hair grows. He's Native American, so the hair is actually sparse compared to most, but he said it was like he had a sunburn in his hind-crack. I would suggest one proceed cautiously when lighting expedited gases!
