X Rays create radiation risk.Cancer,defective progeny are likely hazards of X Ray.Modern diggnostic system has discarded use of X Rays and as far as possible ultra sound scan is used which is less harmful.

Very little radiation is passed through your body when you have one taken.
My Dr. always puts a lead blanket over my crotch when i get them so that concerns me but....
I always wondered why the technician always ran behind that wall when they take them but i realized its because they take x-rays all day as their job, so they are exposed to lots more radiation than you or i just having one taken.

only if u have to have multiple xrays as having a few in a short space of time can lead to developement of tumours/cancer etc

Yes because I don't like the idea of exposing my body to radiation. And especially so if my children have to have one

You have to wonder when the x-ray tech steps behind a lead wall!!! Don't get more than you need!
