First of all Jesus is the Son of God, not God. He was or is just Human. A powerful and gifted man with good connections, but just a man. I don't think anyone can dispute this. He was the messenger, the Messiah, not God, no Not God himself.

Halle Salasi of the Rastafari is sort of what you ask, minus the ressurection. He died.

Mohammed of Islam was returned to heaven alive. He never died, supposedly.

Bhudda dissapeared into nothingness without death as well.

Nope Jesus is the only resurrector.

There was some Japanese cult leader who turned into a butterfly!

It is an allegory. When Christ (Christos in Greek means Light ) died and was re-born it simply means that we could follow the example of crucifying our EGO to be free of want.He was crucified in the head (GOGA in Greek) where the EGO is. Then a new enlightenment will awaken you into a higher understanding of self and your relation to the Cosmos (Universe) where all is understood.
He was crucified on Skull Mount. That means the EGO , residing in the SKULL , was mounted on a cross, for all to see. The cross is an ancient Greek symbol for the World. North-South, East-West.The point in this story is to let the LIGHT into the WORLD by letting go of the EGO. It's a buddist teaching the Greeks were trying to give to the people of biblical times in a way they could understand since the science of those days was still in infancy. He was betrayed for 30 pieces of silver. The greeks back then knew the world was round and they had devided it into 30 pieces, or slivers, from the north pole to the south pole. What they were saying here was the EGO is of this world and the LIGHT of the World was betrayed .I'd love to tell you more but am really sleepy right now. The Greek phylosofers who wrote the New Testament did so in letters to each other and in a way people of those superstitious times could understand. lol-t

Osiris from the Egyptian religion is the original dying and resurrecting God. There are many other similarities to Jesus. He was born from Isis who was in God terms a virgin.

You must note before everything that there is no God but one true God ( Deity ) worthy of Worship. He is alone, does not have any partners, associates, is Just, Benevolent, Merciful, Compassionate, and Majestic. He does not beget and is not begotten. One of the attributes of God is Life. He never Dies. Everything that dies , is not God. God is unlike the creatures. He has no death and no beginning. While Human and animals die and have beginning and end. You anad all your christian fellows have gone astray in knowing God. He is not Jesus. Jesus is not the son of God. He is the messenger nad prophet of God sent for guidance of humanity. He did not die on cross for your salvation. Do not deceive yourself by this.

There is. His name is Sai Baba. His name was Shirdi Sai Baba, but when after he died, he came back to life except with a different appearance and a slightly different name : Sathya Sai Baba. He lives in Puttaparthi, where people go to visit him and take his blessings. Some of my friends have gone and seen him.

You can find more on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sathya_Sai_Baba

The difference between Jesus and Osiris is that Osiris thought he was the sun, not the Son lol. He thought he made the sun rise every day.

The "undesirable" would be taken to judgment (the place the vultures collect). The "stored" would be hidden interior the ark that's Jesus/Yeshua. The rapture is genuinely misunderstood. that is a similar with the aid of fact the Day of Lord. there's no pre, mid, or submit trib rapture, that's the Day of the Lord, while He returns bodily -- the "cloud" is the saints -- the cloud of witnesses who've handed on and those alive are rapidly taken up with the cloud of witnesses. there is basically one Parousia (2nd coming) and that's the Day of the Lord. human beings particularly have a puzzled concept with regard to the rapture. Scripture teaches us.
