A paper gift, ie book, card, etc, has been the traditional 1st wedding anniversary gift. However, watches have become a more popular, modern 1st anniversary gift. My husband got me a very elegant watch that doesn't requires battery, ie uses light or mechanical motion to power it. A woman can never have too many classy watches to wear. Citizen makes watches the Eco-drive line that uses light.

Standard first anniversary gifts are something to do with Paper.
However I think every woman needs atleast one time in her life enjoy a spa day or a week/month/day worth of maid service!!
Anyone agree??

Give her a gift she will really appreciate. Either fullfill her deepest desire or if that's out of your league, treat her to a royal treatment at a spa.
