Unfortunately you are hurting the military, or should I say the people in the military, but not how you think you are.

You are not lowering their will to get the job done, and you personaly are not making them disheartened, but by spreading your propaganda you are giving hopr to the enemy and also inciting hatred of your own countrymen by constant references to murders and attrocities which are unproven.

This will lead to more agression towards yours (and my) troops and potentially deaths. I hope you can sleep at night.

We didn't lose the vietnam war. We just did what we wanted to do up to a point. In fact pulling out of Vietnam, I heard was a humanitarian mistake. Cambodia suffered terrible losses shortly after, an event called "the killing fields", where something like a million people were exterminated.

I'm not sure I understand your question? The American military has by far killed more Afghani and Iraqi-Arab soldiers than they have killed of American soldiers. What is in question? Obviously we are a superior power, with deadlier force, tactics and intelligence. Compared to the United states they are "as helpless as a worm fighting an Eagle" to quote "Kill Bill 2".

Perhaps not a worm, but as helpless as a Badger or a Raccoon. They could hurt the Eagle a little bit, but there's no real competition.

It seems you are out to hurt the USA's pride, but these Colors run deep, you can't hurt a soldiers Morale, with a little fact, that is wrong anyways, or at least just your opinion.

Strangely I'm against this war and all war. So don't think I'm some kind of Rifle toting Repuplican. However I'll have to say that I admire Repulicans, at least they know what side they are on, and at least they know what they stand for.

I'm a confused liberal democrat and often don't know what to make of issues.

However your issue is just weak, pointless and misleading.

I spent a year in Iraq. If I wasn't engaged I might have volunteered to spend another six months there. I think they will be quite safe from anything you tell them. Everybody knows about Vietnam, or at least all Americans should, since it has been mentioned so much. I don't know anyone that has been bothered by it.
We are killing many times more combatants than what we are losing. We are occupying the country. We are rebuilding the country.

The hard fact is that it was pansy-wanker leftists who undermined the Vietnam war, and traitors like Kerry and Fonda who told lies and were treated like heros by the press and the Viet Cong.

War is not just military, but diplomatic. And, like then, the cowardly craven Dems (who started the Vietnam war, by the way) wanted, like today, to cut and run. It was their moral cowardice that made the soldiers sacrifices in vain.

And, it is your and the rest of the left's support for the enemy - because that is truly what it boils down to - that encourages them to continue their terrorism, that leads to the death of more Americans.

Perhaps the Dems will get hero shrines in the terrorist's war museums, like Kerry and Fonda are enshrined and honored in the Vietnam War Museum.

You may not know it but that is a good point! In '69 what was the Tet offensive WAS indeed crushed militarily by the south and US...But not to hear it in the US press. Those same Anti-American defeatist that will NOT report progress today, sensationalizing the negative were personally responsible for the deaths of 55 thousand then, and all that have and will die now for the presses infamy.
The pen IS mightier than the sword and they are murderers!

AF, I don't think that truth "hurts" the military. Unlike your C-in-C, I think that our servicemen and servicewomen should be hearing truth, not sweet sounding lies. You are accomplishing many great things in Iraq but "defeating terrorism" will not be one of them.

And we merely withdrew from Viet Nam, we did not lose. In a war without a clear goal to define a "win", how can there be a "loss"? Thank you for your service and don't get killed.

I often wonder why Allah is killing so many of his followers. That is a hard fact, don't you agree? Why is he doing this?

The worst natural disasters since the year 2000 have predominately affected those who follow Islam. For some of the following disasters, nearly 100% of the victims were Muslims. Is Allah punishing his followers for the sins of Muslims terrorists?

Top Ten Worst Disasters, since 2000:
1 Earthquake/tsunami, Southeast Asia, 2004 - 230,000 dead, 1,126,900 homeless, MOSTLY MUSLIMS
2 Earthquake, Kashmir, 2005 - 87,400 dead, 4,000,000 homeless, MOSTLY MUSLIMS
3 Earthquake, Bam, Iran, 2003 - 26,300 dead, 80,000 homeless, MOSTLY MUSLIMS
4 Earthquake, Bhuj, India, 2001 - 20,000 dead, 600,000 homeless
5 Famine, Niger, 2005 - 10,000 dead, MOSTLY MUSLIMS
6 Earthquake, Java, 2006 - 5,800 dead, 600,000 homeless, MOSTLY MUSLIMS
7 Earthquake, northeast Afghanistan, 2002 - 2,500 dead, 30,000 homeless, MOSTLY MUSLIMS

Yes in my estimation you are hurting your comrades. If you are so determined to talk people down do it somewhere else. Did we lose the war in Viet Nam? Well i don't see it that way. I do believe we did alot of good to help those who needed helping. My goodness that was ages ago let this go and move on.
