my boyfriend doesn't believe in ghosts and im not saying that he should because many people dont, but i strongly believe in them and have seen a few, however my boyfriend just laughs at me and says im stupid... but how can i convience him im not stupid or lying? he believes in aliens or another life out there in the universe, so why not ghosts?!

By waking him in the middle of the night with a bed sheet on your head! You could also try going "woooOOOoooh!" while your doing it!

Try explaining ghosts to him this way....
Ghosts cannot exist without us to experience them. So you can sort of say "ghosts" come from our minds. It is our own psychic energy that is used to create this phenomena. Some people (depending on their own brain wiring) see ghosts and others can smell them, or feel touched by them. And still...others can hear them. Depending on how you mind perceives things depends on how you experience a "ghost." We cannot study ghosts without people's experiences. If "ghosts" have been mentioned since the dawn of time. Every person cannot be lying about them, right?
A ghost may not be a "soul," of someone but just what is known as "place memory." Our emotional thoughts sometimes can be planted on an atmosphere and create this phenomena. It is not a dead person's spirit at all...it is just our psychic energy lingering at a place we had a very strong attachment to, when we were alive. This "energy implant" is common in what is known as residual hauntings.

The probability of life existing somewhere in our vast universe is quite reasonable (although I'm not necessarily saying its an intelligent life-form and I'm quite sure they are not going around kidnapping rednecks...) I don't think that ghosts are real as I don't believe in any form of supernatural afterlife, but all that said your boyfriend should not be mean to you and definitely not call you stupid. As I doubt either of you will have any concrete proof very soon perhaps you should just agree to disagree and leave it at that.

technology is the main suitable answer. think of of this please: a number of hundreds of years in the past if somebody reported there became existence in water, they could be considered as the two loopy or some what pagan. So in the present day we've the microscope and so show the life of 'existence' in water, interior the variety of micro-organisms. tell your pals this tale and that at some point, while technology nicely-knownshows a fashion, ghosts would be proved.. or possibly disproved ;)

You can't convince your boyfriend to believe in ghosts. You can't force someone to believe in what you believe in. If he believes in ghosts, fine. if he doesn't, WHO CARES? Having a boyfriend means loving someone deeply. not about believing in ghosts.

I don't think you can convince him of it. But if he believes in aliens, etc. maybe you should laugh at him whenever he mentions them. Then he'll know how it feels. He should respect whatever you believe, even if he doesn't believe it. I know my partner doesn't believe in the same things as me but he doesn't ridicule.

ghosts are everywhere, I myself saw hundreds of them.
but they are in a very bad condition, disgusting, what is the point in convince someone about they existence? It will not help the ghosts, will not help yourself and anyone else.

If he see one ghost.. he will tell you that they are real... i think if he see one he will say that he saw an alien....and will not beleive that ghosts are real..lol

even if you convince him since he does not believe in them ,they will not appear to him but show him Nigerian film and he will know that ghost exist.
