When done properly (in a salon and not from a box) it can be a beautiful experience. Too much bleaching will cause a lot of breakage and professionals don't use "bleach" any more unless they are behind the times. There are lower levels of peroxide that can be used and different suggestive alternatives to what you would like to achieve. The lower levels of peroxide give the advantage of going back to a natural color or a different sold color with no damage at all.

They are all harsh chemicals that change and damage your hair shaft. If they are overdone you can permenantly damage the hair.Bleaching is the harshest next to dyeing and then hi-liting being the mildest because its done on only selected strands of hair and doesnt touch the root.Using dyes and bleach is also hard on the immune system, and during pregnancy or certain health conditions it may not be advisable.
Some alternative methods of hair dye include the natural herb henna.

well I highlighted my hair about a month ago. I did nt know much about it except for the fact that I wanted to do it. Anyway,I highlighted it and I personally think it compliments my honey toned face. Enough about me, I've read that it strips ur hair of its oils and things if that nature.-My hairstylist told me that if I had got a rinse it would've taken away from the natural color of my hair. Highlighting or dyeing hair also takes away from the natural juices and oils that maybe used to make your hair smooth silky....u know..Ummm as far as an "up" well I mean if you choose a color that u really like and it looks good on u then thats an up" in itself. You can try using some of the Dove products to restore some of those things mentioned up ^ there. Anyways I hope I answered your ?. Have a good day

I would not dye, highlite or bleach your hair, cuz it burns your hair and frizziz it. its better to like your hair the way it is its healthyer for it
