You would put the creation of dinosaurs into the 5th and early on the 6th days, the bible says; Genesis.1:20-21, 24-25.

"Then God said, "Let the waters abound with an abundance of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the face of the firmament of the heavens."

So God created GREAT SEA CREATURES and EVERY LIVING THING that moves, with which the waters abounded, according to their kind, and EVERY WINGED BIRD according to it kind. And God saw that it was good.

Then God said, "Let the earth bring forth the LIVING CREATURE according to it kind: CATTLE and CREEPING THING and BEAST of the earth, each according to its kind"; and it was so.

And God made the BEAST of the earth according to its kind, CATTLE according to its kind, and EVERYTHING that CREEPS on the earth according to its kind, and God saw that it was good

The bible does not meniton them at all. Many Christians would say that this does not prove that either they didn't exist or the bible is wrong. but it would depend on the christian as to which way they think.

personally i can see how the process of evolution could easily be aided and guided by God and that we should understand Genesis differently from how some people do.

but once, someone told me to think about the '7 day creation' idea like this:

if, somehow, you could click your fingers and make a tree just appear where it wasn't before, and then you cut that tree down, would it have concentric rings inside? well, without those concentric rings it would not be a tree. all trees have them.

but at the same time, those concentric rings describe something of the seasonal history of the tree. not the full picture, but a pretty good idea as to how good the season was for the tree.

except that this tree only came into existance in the last few minutes.

If you created the world in a very short space of time, it is not a long shot to say that he created it with some indication of a history that it did not actually live through.

thinking about it like this has helped me understand how people who believe in 7 day creation (about 4500 years ago) can explain the existence of dinasaurs remains in the ground.

i hope this is interesting.

All creatures that lived on the earth were created on the 6th day (Genesis 1:23-31). Anything living in the sea or flying in the air was created on the 5th day (vs 19-23).

As for dinosaurs in the Bible, Job 40 gives a description of "Behemoth", and Job 41 gives a description of "Leviathan". These are both powerful creatures that we could only call dinosaurs today.

It seems evident that dinosaurs did exist - after all, we find their bones today! I just heard on the radio yesterday someone's opinion that if alligators were extinct today, they would be classified as a dinosaur. Interesting.

The Bible doesn't specifically mention dinosaurs, not by the name we give to them. But, in the book of Job and the Psalms, a living creature called 'Leviathan' is mentioned, which is generally understood to be huge, powerful and destructive.

Leviathan appears to be at least semi-aquatic, and had scales and sharp teeth. It may refer to a species of plesiosaur, a water-going dinosaur which has since died out (unless you believe that there is one in Loch Ness.) It may also refer to the crocodile, of which numerous varieties have existed and some (like the Australian salt-water crocodile) are big enough in my book to count as dinosaurs. Search on Australian salt-water crocodiles for more information.

Some people have written fiction about Leviathan, picturing it as various species, real or mythical. The name has now become used for almost anything big and destructive.

Hobbes' book, The Leviathan, is about economic and political issues, and is an example of the alternate use of the word.

The bible says something about leviathans. I think it's in Genesis 1. Personally, I doubt that any of the findings can be taken literally. God created the world in 6 of "God's" days, not man's days. Our egos create a completely incorrect view of the universe. We choose to believe that we are the center of God's creation, when we are just the current inhabitants of a small blue planet that God doesn't worry about.

supposedly when he made all the other creatures.
but you're not supposed to take Genesis on a factual basis. the point the book is trying to make is that god made everything.
it doesn't really matter how, because even if god did make the world, i don't think it was in a way that humans are ready to understand.
so don't worry about it.

God told Adam and Eve ...be fruitful and multiply and replenish the Earth,.. replenish means to make complete again. You won't find out what day God made them because it was before our creation and I believe it is hidden from us.

He made them among the other animals.
The bible is predomantly about people. You'd also have a hard time finding anything about ardvarks, zeberas, or kangaroos.
