i dont speak english so maybe i dont understand it correctly but anyway:
if i remember correctly what the sikhs had its not exactly a messenger from god (prophet), there are 12 and the 12th man still didnt came but they wait for him, but as far as i remember its not prophet i can check, i wrote it in my notebook.
i am talking about history aspect, NOT philosophy one, so i dont agree everyone prophet but its not that.
my teacher is a very good source, believe me.
i dont know any thing related to the christian history but i know muhamad claimed to be the last prophet, im not a believer but if he could take with him more than billion(the amount of muslims today) than he sure found a very good way to lie __IF__ he lies (im not saying he is so dont get upset the muslims here).
me myself i intend to get a digree in history and this is something im interested in, im sure there was another one unfortunatly i cant decide which on is the last after so many answers...

There are no last prophets, there will always be prophets until Jesus returns to take us.

The Sikhs have a prophet that they believe came after Muhammad, and perhaps the Bahai religion has one too?
This is pure speculation. I did not do any research...just going by what I recall hearing from others.
oh just did some reading...
Martyrdom of the Bab (Baha'i)

On this day Baha'i's remember the martyrdom of the Bab, their Prophet-Herald who was executed on this day in 1850 in Tabriz, Iran.

The age of prophets will not cease till Jesus comes back. Then when someone speaks in prophecy, he will be a liar and accursed.
A true Prophet speaks the mysteries of God, from God.., prophecy includes speaking mysteries of God's greatness as well as events to come.
I really have no idea what your concept of a prophet is, and I'm not poking fun at you, just explaining. There are still prophets.., its just Mohammad decided to declare his self the last prophet.
GOD himself in the old testament spoke through one of the prophets and said there would be no more prophets when the messiah come to reign (Jesus). For Jesus is the prophet of prophets, kings of kings, lord of lords.

There were so many people who claimed to be a prophet after Muhammad (p), Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, Anwar Kenneth, Rashad khalifa, there are many more but they all died without much success. Muhammad (p) is the last messenger of Allah (swt).

Mohammad was the final and seal of prophets and this was because of the nature of the message as being natural, universal, and global. In addition its is preserved in authentic scientific way so no changes may affect it. However, false prophets are expected more likely at the end time.

Mormons believe that Joseph Smith was a prophet. He came long after Mohammad. I suppose it depends on what you believe a prophet is and what your particular religious beliefs are. I believe that prophets are born everyday, it's just that most people don't listen to them.

Hadith: Issa (PBUH) will come back and will kill the Dazzal and conquer the world and will rule for 40 years.
