Can I separate myself from family without burning bridges?

This is a hard question, eh? Sometimes people get into a rut, a habit, of hurting each other and someone finally has to say TIME OUT. but how to do that?? it depends upon how long you need a break for. A week with no contact can be explained away with "oh I had the flu" and no damage done, but longer than a month....more consequences. i guess you just have to decide what it is worth to you. Will you get greater peace of mind from the presence or the absence of family.

darling -------family in India means---do u want me to explain allll. r u kidding.my aunty's dog's ,cat's and servants r also part of family .so why not be specific.but let me guess-1) its spouse-no way.chances r u can keep the bridge and kill the family(rocket)or separate with a friendly bye(v v difficult).2)parents-after or before marriage----then better keep both believe me they r worth it.ya ya i to have the same situation--but the best way is to keep silent,listen to what they say .give them full respect and do something that won't hurt them and is close to ur heart .its better than that word of urs --seperate .easy said then done .

in a word no. once you seperate theres no going back. make sure its what you believe in, and where you want to be. then there will be not as much heart ache.

dont worry, if theyre anything like linda they'll do it for you, then try to rebuild it, but before they complete it they will change their mind just to torch it again. and so on and so on....
