Where is it and what sort of dessert do they offer and how expensive is it?

Valeries Patisserie in Soho is famous for its cakes, see link below. I think that they are moderate- expensive

Carluccios is another option, again links below will give you prices and what they do.

My all out favourite for tea is Fortnum and Mason's in Picadilly - an experience in its own right! The food is great and I think reasonably priced.

Valerie's Patisserie is great. I enjoy Coffee, Cake and Kink - nice cake, good fairtrade coffee/tea/juice, good artwork (Endell St. near Tottenham Court Road tube)

Konditor and Cook do the most amazing cakes I think I have ever eaten (apart from Tesco's chocolate indulgence cake which, at £1.70 cannot be beaten). They are quite expensive but they are well worth it.

If you're loaded, try The Ritz. I know this isn't helpful, but it's a once in a lifetime thing. You have to try it someday, and YOU KNOW YOU WANT TOO...!!!
