No way!
First of all KFC has to survive for its existence. The American style chicken has to face a very stiff competition with Indian style chicken. The variety of chicken dish in India has alrady been thrashing KFC very hard. KFC will have to, the sooner the better it is, find a formula to match Indian taste, demands and price tags.
McDonalds has very fine tuned itself to Indian conditions and is popular among Indians, though most of its franchisees have yet to see breakeven in business investment. Keeping in mind practical situations, KFC has yet to even see the morning sun from the point of view of investment returns, cutomers' likings, menu, price, popularity.....

Nope atleast not for some years now. Mc Donalds has spread quite a lot everywhere in Bombay compared to KFC which is only there at Bandra .And since the Name Fried Chicken no veg ppl will go there compared to Mc Donalds. So as far as KFC is concerned long way to go.

Does not looks like in near future as McDonalds arch 'M' is still well ahead of KFC Bucket. Reason can be numerous - early start, more variety, Chicken in KFC name or all others but bottomline is that KFC have to fill lot in bucket to soak Mc.
