I am looking for a verse in the Bible wher Jesus,himself, says that he will be crucified for the sins of man? I know about the verse where he says that he will be CRUCIFIED but I am looking where he specifically mentions "CRUCIFIED FOR THE SINS" of man?

Luke 24:7 'The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.' "

This verse doesn't say "crucified for sins"

The first one is the most popular verse in the bible;

John.3:16
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life"

Matthew.26:2,
"You know that after two days is the Passover, and the Son of Man will be delivered up to be crucified.

Matthew.26:28
Jesus speaking; "For this is My blood of the new covenant which is shed for many for the remission of sins."

Luke.24:7,46-47
"saying, The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.'

"Then He said to them, "Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day,
and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem."

I think this should be sufficient and if you need more, just mail me.

You have a good point. I have studied the bible for a long time and know that Jesus never said that. He wasn't crucified for the sins of man anyway,John the Baptist said..Behold the lamb Of God that taketh away the sin of the world,not sins of man.The sin of the world was disobedience and you know why that was.

Never, because the verse is written by some of the touts of Jesus. He has never said that he would be crucified.

I also recommend a bible program. There's esword, a very good one with many translations and comments available for download. You can search the whole bible in no time.
