Yesterday I format my PC but I donn't have Audio driver I search several sites but i didn't get.Please suggest

PC configuration is:
IntelCeleron 2.4 GHz.
256 MB DDR RAM
Intel Motherboard VIA chipset (HIS)
I serched on several sites,I get nearly 100 audio drivers,also I checked but didn't run. Please suggest from where I get the audio driver.

I assume you are running XP. Go to:

START>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Information

On the "System Summary" Screen you will see the following:

OS Name:
Version:
OS Manufacturer: Microsoft Corporation
System Name:
System Manufacturer: << Note this down>>
System Modfel: << Note this down>>
System Type: << Note this down>>

Post the information I asked you to note down. From that we should be able to identify the version of the sound driver you need!

Do you know what sound card you have? You need to know the type of sound you are running. Once you find the sound card type (name, manufacturer), then you can download the correct driver. If you have onboard sound, the driver is usually either 1) already supported with your chipset or 2) on a cd that came with the motherboard.

hi there
open ur case
look onto your motherboard
there would be your audio chip on it
i have attached an example image of the chip
and hen what ever is written on the chip use that to search for a driver over the internet
i bet you will be able to get ur audio working once again
