For the first 7 years things were wonderful until one day he just decided to stop communicating-stating it's not you- it's me-The one by one he started taking things back(material things) We stopped taking trips and he created situations that he knew would push my buttons-I have left several times and feel much better when I do-He used to help me alot with my kids(being a single mom it was refreshing)but they are all in college now and out on their own-Each time I break away a situation arises that draws me back(I don't have many friends anymore because I allowed myself to be isolated and consumed with our relationship) He has told me 3x times he wanted to marry me but never has and now I realize it is when I am independent and doing well that he asks the question-Now even when we do go out he is always looking at other women stating"he is just a people watcher" BS He wasn't one for the 1st 7 yrs-Advice Please that will work for good-I have alot to offer& I'm missing so much of life.

You need to remember his abuse and put it foremost in your mind to break from him permanently. Then you must remember but not use his ill treat ment from allowing you to find someone to give you the devotion and caring love that you deserve and you can return to someone truly interested in you and having a family with you

Good Luck and God Bless!!

I truly feel that you are a very fortunate woman to know where you stand and how your guy is no longer standing there with you. In fact, he should be a shadow of your past, at this present, and, you should press on.
Indulge yourself, grow into your love which brought children forth, which wakens you to your own special character which can only make others sense their purpose, for a resolve would have come to past brightening your future.
Your countenance will change for the better.
He'll wonder why he failed you, when you promote the love of self.

Pack your bags and walk out the door. Each time you want to go back remember what you will be saying when you are older and at the end of life "that I wasted my life" that should help you stay away, it worked for me. Have been gone for 5 years. Good luck
