Yes all bikes can have a reverse gear.

Peddle bikes and motor bikes, unicycles, etc. I actually have a peddle bike that if you turn the peddles backwards will rotate the rear wheel backwards. I made my own frame and peddle set and just made it a direct chain link to the rear sprocket. My plan was to use it for a brake, but it was very hard on the tires and my legs :) so I ended up putting hand brakes on it. It would be possible to have a like a 16 speed bike, with one of the rear sprockets hard coupled to the rear axle, so that when you put it down on that gear and peddled backwards, you would actually have multiple reverse gears by changing the front sprocket gearing :)

There are also several motorcycles that include a reverse gear. Most of them being the "Tanks" of the motorcycle world, such as the popular Honda Goldwing. The goldwing is a massive heavy hard to maneuver, yet very comfortable to ride bike. The gearing on the Honda Goldwing is Extremal low to insure you cannot go too fast in reverse. The reverse gear is meant to be used with you still manually "walking" it back. So dont think you just drop it down into reverse, and put your feet up on the pegs and gun it. Your sure to get some road rash from that one :)

So to answer your question Yes its possible. And has been done.

Yes a bike can definitely have a reverse gear if any manufacturer provides it. They have not provided a reverse gear because any body will tend to fall instantaneously while riding in reverse direction

i've got no longer heard of any present day scooters with a opposite kit different than electric powered mobility scooters. The Honda GoldWing bike now has a opposite, yet till switched over to trike or with added wheels, you will possibly in all hazard have concern with the load ... 365+ kgs. you will possibly look into golfing carts or older autos like Harley Davidson Servicars, Cushman PackageCars / Trucksters, or Vespa 3 wheeled scooters. What many motorcyclists do is pull right into a vehicle parking area then turn the bike around, dealing with in the direction of site visitors. you're able to try this with the help wheels additionally.

Yes , definately the bike can have a reverse gear , as any mechanical / engine can have. but the only reason it is absent from all two wheeler is that ITS NEXT TO IMPOSSIBLE TO CREATE / MAINTAIN BALANCE ON A TWO WHEELER FOR A NORMAL PERSON WHILE ITS MOVING BACKWARD.

you could probably rig that up but it would be almost impossible to ride a bike in reverse without falling off or walking it backwards.
