How much horsepower does a 1997 Explorer have?

I have a 1997 Ford Explorer with a 4.0 V6 SOHC engine and I was wondering how much horsepower ans torque it has. And I also have a 1998 Kia Sephia with a 1.6 VTEC engine and I also want to know how much horsepower and torque it has. I'm guessing it has aroung 100 and the Explorer has maybe 150 or 170 horses.

You can check www.edmunds.com. My GF had a 1996 4.0 liter with 160HP. However the next year Ford upgraded that engine to 205HP/245LbFt in 1997.

Your right, the Kia is about 100 HP and the 4.o Ford has 170HP
