average is about 11 years
but it doesnt matter
my cat has 14 years
she is still playing with balls and ropes
vet said that she could live about 10 more years
she always eat only the best of the best
so if you want your cat to live more you have to watch what is she eating

Cats usually live longer than dogs, normally to 14 or 15 but it not uncommon for them to live longer than that. Congratulations to Elvis, he probably has a good few years left in him yet if he is still healthy at that age.
