EXACTLY!!! OMG, i've been wondering the same thing my whole life!!! Why not a hippo or a giraffe, or even a field mouse? This is like that "If a tree falls in the woods..." question.

he was as lame as a duck. Not the metaphorical lame duck either, bt a real duck that was actually lame. Maybe from steppin on a landmine or someting!
